Artist Biography Lindy Nadarajah is Arteast member and has been promoting Arts in Orleans for many years for people of all ages. She worked on Arteast's outreach programs such as bringing art to children in the Queen Elizabeth Elementary School project and raised funds for the Children's Wish foundation. She volunteered at CHEO bringing art to terminally ill children. Lindy has been painting for over 38 years including painting a variety of subjects that inspire her from portraits to landscapes. Lindy Nadarajah has been an Arteast member since 1998. Lindy served on the Board of Directors for Visual Arts Center, Orleans (VACO) and became an Executive member of Arteast in 1999. Lindy’s artistic passion comes from her early years of travelling to many countries. She now paints those memories on canvas as well as getting inspiration from her children. Also Lindy's work includes glowing florals and images of her Sri Lankan heritage. She is currently an instructor at the Ottawa School of Art. She teaches art to children, adults and students with special needs. She is currently teaching "Introduction to Drawing and Painting" (adults) , children's class of " Drawing Exploration" and "Painting from the Masters" (adults)
